Detailed Itinerary of the 4 Days Rwenzori Mountain Hike-Nature Walk & Cultural Safari

Day 1: Arrival and go to Mountain Rwenzori National Park

The 4 Days Nature Walk and Culture Safari starts at the Entebbe International Airport where you are picked up and transferred by a driver guide to Mountain Rwenzori National Park a journey that takes you about 6-7 hours. Pass by the equator for photos and lunch is en-route at Fort Portal. Dinner and Overnight at Ruboni Community Banda.

Day 2: Nature Walk along Ruboni Hill

4-days-nature-walk-and-culture-safariWake up have breakfast early, then embark on a guided nature walk to hike Ruboni Hill and en-route have magnificent views of River Mubuku, mount Bake. After a while you reach the top of Ruboni Hill at 2300 meter view the Rwenzori Mountains and snow capped Margherita Peak. After proceed for Dinner and Overnight at Ruboni Community Banda.

Day 3: Cultural/ Village Guided Walk

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to enjoy a guided nature walk along the Bulemba -Ihandiro Cultural Trail on which you learn more about the local Bakonzo people and Culture. The walk/ hike takes 6-7 hours through the “Bat Valley” which traverses River Kamusonge. You can also visit the Traditional Healer who informs you about his powers. Optionally, you can visit the local villages of Ruboni. Dinner and Overnight at Ruboni Community Banda.

Day 4: Depart to Kampala or Entebbe Airport

Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage depart to Kampala or the Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
