Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Mbale – Budadiri Tourism center

Day 2- From Budadiri to Sasa Camp (2.900m)

Detailed Itinerary of the 7 Days Mt Elgon, Sipi Falls and River Nile Rafting Safari

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Mbale – Budadiri Tourism Centre

On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport where you are picked up by our driver guide who transfers you to Mbale then to Budadiri Tourism Centre. You shall transfer for some hours via Jinja Town then have lunch en-route in Mbale. After lunch, proceed to check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Sipi River Lodge, Sipi Falls Camp.

Day 2: Transfer from Budadiri to Sasa Camp (2.900m)

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Budadiri (1250 m) located close to Mbale Town at the entrance of Mountain Elgon National Park. Here organise your luggage with food and camping Gear then embark on a walk to Sasa River Camp (2.900m) for a distance of about 8 km i.e 7 to 8 hours walk at an altitude of 1.700m and when you reach here relax, have Dinner and Overnight. Sasa Camp.

Day 3: From Sasa camp to Mude Camp (3.500m)

Wake up have breakfast then transfer through the forest to Mude Cave Campsite for 4 to 5 hours at an altitude of 600m. After a while you reach Mude Cave Camp where you have Dinner and Overnight.

Day 4: From Mude Camp to Wagagai Peak (4321 m) and return to Mude

Wake up have breakfast then transfer through the moorland zone up to the Wagagai Peak for 8 to 9 hours at an altitude of 820m. After your remarkable adventure at the top, descend to the Mude Campsite for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 5: From Mude Camp back to Sipi Falls camp

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Sipi Falls Camp in Kapchorwa North of Mbale. You will reach your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Sipi Falls Camp, Lacam Lodge.

Day 6: Sipi Falls Hike then Transfer to Jinja

Wake up have breakfast then embark on a guided nature walk/ hike to the top of Sipi Falls and while on your walk, visit the caves as you view the green terrain vegetation, birds and plains in a distance. After, break off for lunch then proceed to Jinja Town. Dinner and Overnight at Wild Waters Lodge Jinja.

Day 7: White Water Rafting along River Nile then Transfer to Kampala

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the banks of River Nile for briefing on your white water rafting adventure along River Nile’s vigorous Rapids at various grades from 1 to 5 as these are chosen by the travelers. Go white water rafting then later have lunch an depart to Kampala or the Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
