The extinct Volcano is in the Virunga Mountains along the Rwanda and Uganda border situated between Mount Muhavura and Sabinyo Volcanoes.
The extinct Volcano is the smallest of all the three with a straight dialect meaning a small pile of stones.
The Volcano includes a Swampy Caldera at the top which is believed to be 180 m (591 ft) wide.
Mgahinga National Park is named after this amazing Mountain Volcano which is one of the 8 Volcanic Mountains of the Mufumbiro ranges which span traversing Uganda, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
