Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Mgahinga National Park
The 4 Day Gorilla Trekking Uganda and Gahinga Hike starts at the Entebbe International Airport where you are picked up by a driver guide who transfers you via Kampala to Mgahinga National Park. Transfer for 6 to 7 hours viewing the green terrain vegetation, birds as well as have lunch en-route then later you reach the park and check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mount Gahinga Lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga National Park
Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Mountain Gorillas in their natural forest habitat then later in groups of 8 with a skilled park ranger enter the forest to track the Gorillas for 3-5 hours and when you meet them only an hour is allowed in their presence taking various photos to keep for memories. After Gorilla Trekking, return back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.Mount Gahinga Lodge.
Day 3: Mount Gahinga Volcano Hike and Cultural Encounter
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to be briefed on the Dos and Don’ts while hiking the stunning Mount Gahinga Volcano then later in groups with a park ranger, hike to the top of this Mountain Volcano that does not require you to be an avid hiker in 6 hours both ascent and descent. Along the Hike watch the Golden Monkeys, birds and green vegetation. After your Hiking Adventure you can take on an optional nature walk to the nearby local communities then later, return back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mount Gahinga Lodge.
Day 4: Departure to Kampala or Entebbe
Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage embark on a transfer to Kampala or the Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
