7 Days Rhinos, Wildlife and Gorilla Tour

The 7 Days Rhinos, Wildlife and Gorilla Tour takes you Rhino Trekking in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga National Park and Wildlife Safari in Lake Mburo National Park Uganda.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you are picked up by a company driver guide who transfers on a City Tour around the stunning Kampala visiting various places like the Kasubi Tombs, Kings’ Palace Bulange, Uganda Martry’s Shrine, etc. After the City Tour, break off for lunch then later transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. When you reach the Sanctuary, check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Amuka Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Rhino Trekking in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Rhinos then later you are distributed into groups with an experienced park ranger guide. After briefing, you transfer into the forest vegetation to trek the Rhinos for a period of 2-4 hours depending on where they are located and when you meet them, take various photos to keep for memories. After Rhino Trekking, break off for lunch then later transfer to relax, have Dinner and Overnight at your lodge. Amuka Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Mgahinga National Park

Wake up have breakfast then later embark on a transfer to the South West of Uganda at Mgahinga National Park. En-route you watch the stunning green terrain vegetation, birds as well as lunch. After a while driving, you reach the Park and check-in your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Mount Gahinga Lodge, Kisoro Tourist Hotel.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the Dos and Don’ts around the Mountain Gorillas then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger guide, transfer into the forest vegetation to track the Mountain Gorillas for 3-5 hours and when you meet them, only an hour is allowed to stay in their presence taking numerous photos to keep for memories.

After Gorilla Trekking, return back to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Mount Gahinga Lodge, Kisoro Tourist Hotel.

Day 5: Golden Monkey Tracking

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the Dos and Don’ts around the Golden Monkeys then later in groups with a park ranger transfer to track the Golden Monkeys for 2-4 hours following them from one trail to another as they jump from one tree branch to another an experience remarkable taking photos to keep for memories.

After Golden Monkey Tracking, return back to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and overnight. Mount Gahinga Lodge, Kisoro Tourist Hotel.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage, transfer to the stunning Lake Mburo National Park located a few kilometers off Mbarara Town. En-route enjoy views of the green terrain, birds and lunch. When you reach the Park, enjoy a Game Drive along the various tracks in the park watching numerous wildlife animals wandering around their natural habitat. After the Game Drive, transfer to check-in your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Mburo Safari Lodge, Mihingo Lodge.

Day 7: Departure to Kampala

Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage embark on a transfer to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
